Set up your city and preferences

Open More → Settings. Tap Change next to your city, or open Places. Search for your city or region and select the matching place. Check the country when cities share a name. You can also tap the city on Today to change it.
In Settings → Calculation System, select Surya Siddhanta or Drik Siddhanta. The methods can produce different Panchang timings and festival dates; use the one followed by your family or tradition.
Open Settings → Language & Display to choose Nepali or English and your preferred time display. Your home city sets the default location for daily timings; tools with their own place picker use the place chosen in that tool.

Check a day and plan ahead

Open Today for the current Nepali and English dates, Panchang, sunrise and sunset for your selected city.
Open Patro to browse the calendar. Use the month controls to move between months and tap a date to see that day’s details.
Open Festivals to browse festivals and observances. Open an item for its details and use its reminder option when you want to be notified.

Convert dates and use everyday tools

Open More → Date Converter. Choose the conversion direction, enter the source date and read the matching BS or AD date.
For age, open More → Age Calculator and enter the birth date. For birth Rashi, open More → Birth Rashi Calculator and supply the birth details requested. Use the birth location in that tool rather than assuming your home city is the right place.

Write and find a day note

Open Patro, select a date and tap Add a private note for this day. Write your note and save it. For today’s existing note, you can also use Edit under My note for today on Today.
Open More → Saved Notes to return to notes you have already written. Open a note to edit it, or use Delete note to remove it. Notes are stored only on this device; they do not sync or return if the app is removed.

Manage reminders and daily notifications

Open More → Settings → Notifications. Enable the notification types you want and choose the available delivery times. You can manage the daily briefing, saved reminders and day-note notifications here.
Allow notifications when your phone asks. If a reminder does not arrive, check AajaPatro’s notification permission in your phone settings, then check Focus or Do Not Disturb and any battery restrictions.
Return to Notifications to review your choices and saved reminders. Keep your home city up to date so location-based information matches where you want to follow the calendar.

If dates, timings or data look wrong

Check the selected date, city, timezone and calculation system first. Sunrise, sunset and Panchang timings depend on location. Compare calendars using the same settings.
If information is missing or a saved-data notice appears, reconnect to the internet and retry. Offline access is limited to content already cached or downloaded.
If the issue continues, open More → Settings → Feedback and data issue. Include the date, city, calculation system, expected result and what you actually saw, along with your app version and phone model.
