Privacy Policy

Aaja Software (“we,” “our,” or “us”) created Aaja Nepali Keyboard with privacy as a core product requirement. This policy explains how the Aaja Nepali Keyboard iOS app and keyboard extension (together, the “App”) handle information.

Aaja Nepali Keyboard does not collect your typed text or transmit your keyboard activity to us. The keyboard works without Full Access.

Aaja Nepali Keyboard does not collect, receive, or transmit:

• The words, messages, passwords, search terms, or other text you type
• The contents of your local drafts or your keyboard history
• Your contacts, photos, files, microphone input, or precise location
• Advertising identifiers or data used to track you across apps and websites
• Analytics about what you type
• Account or profile information; the App does not require an account
• Payment information; the current version does not process purchases

The App does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, cloud-based typing analysis, or third-party analytics.

When you type, Aaja Nepali Keyboard processes limited text context on your device to provide its features. Romanized Nepali mode keeps the current word in memory to convert Roman letters into Nepali script. The suggestion system examines relevant local context to offer possible words.

Nepali and English suggestions use dictionaries bundled with the App. Your typed text is not sent to Aaja Software or to a remote transliteration service.

Temporary typing context is used only to operate the keyboard. iOS may limit the context available to any third-party keyboard, and Aaja Nepali Keyboard works within those system limits.

Aaja Nepali Keyboard is designed to work without the iOS “Allow Full Access” permission. Transliteration, suggestions, and other keyboard features operate on your device and do not require an internet connection.

The companion app includes a writing space. Drafts are stored locally on your iPhone, are excluded from backup, and are removed when you delete the App. Their contents are not sent to Aaja Software.

This policy describes the Aaja Nepali Keyboard App. Visits to the AajaPatro website, including this page, are covered by the AajaPatro Privacy Policy.

We may update this policy as the App changes. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
