Set up Aaja Nepali Keyboard
- 1.Download and open Aaja Nepali Keyboard.
- 2.Choose your default mode, theme, and preferred mode order.
- 3.Tap Open iPhone Settings in the app, or go to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard.
- 4.Select Aaja Nepali Keyboard. Full Access is not required.
Switch between keyboards
While a text field is active, touch and hold the globe key at the bottom of the keyboard, then choose Aaja Nepali Keyboard. You can also tap the globe key to cycle through your enabled keyboards.
Troubleshooting
Aaja Nepali Keyboard does not appear
Confirm it is listed under Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards. If not, choose Add New Keyboard and select Aaja Nepali Keyboard.
The keyboard closes or switches
Some secure fields, including password fields, require Apple’s system keyboard. This behavior is controlled by iOS.
A conversion or suggestion looks wrong
Language and spelling preferences vary. Include the word you typed and the result you expected when you contact support.

Restart the app, confirm iOS is up to date, and remove then re-add Aaja Nepali Keyboard in Settings.

Does Aaja Nepali Keyboard need Full Access?
No. Aaja Nepali Keyboard is designed to work without Full Access. If iOS shows an Allow Full Access switch, you can leave it off.
Can I type without an internet connection?
Yes. Transliteration and suggestions use resources bundled with the app and work on your device.
How do I change typing modes?
Tap the mode control inside Aaja Nepali Keyboard to move between नेपाली, Roman → नेपाली, and English. You can choose the default mode and order in the companion app.
Where are drafts saved?
Drafts made in the app’s writing space are saved locally on your iPhone. Deleting the app removes them.
